The idea behind it – your own Camera Obscura
The Camera Obscura, or pinhole camera, is one of the oldest photographic tools.
It works without a lens, electricity, or electronics – just a tiny hole, light, and time. Inspired by early light experiments by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce (heliography), you can use it to capture your own unique long exposure image.
Expose it wherever and however you like – whether for 7 days, several months, or even longer.
This technique is also known as solargraphy, and it’s ideal for creative long exposure photography – especially outdoors, on windows, or in studios.
